- 2 1/2 cups Apples, Peeled & Diced
- 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon (for apples)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
- Peel and dice apples; cook with sugar and cinnamon for about 5–7 minutes until soft.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- In a large bowl, mix brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla, and maple syrup until smooth, then beat in eggs one at a time.
- Gently fold dry ingredients into wet mix, then add apples carefully.
- Pour batter into prepared dish and bake for about 25 minutes until golden.
- Make glaze by melting butter, maple syrup, and cinnamon over medium heat, then whisk in powdered sugar until smooth.
- Pour glaze over cooled brownies and let it set before cutting into squares.
Notes
Ensure butter is melted but not hot to avoid scrambling the eggs.
Do not over-mix the batter for soft brownies.
Use room temperature eggs for better mixing.
