Description

This Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Porridge features creamy oats paired with caramelized apples, delivering warmth and flavor. It’s an easy and comforting choice for breakfast!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup thick-cut Rolled oats, organic
  • 3 cups Almond milk
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 23 Tbsps pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 12 tsps apple pie spice
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1 organic apple, sliced
  • 2 Tbsps unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup organic brown sugar
  • 1 tsp apple pie spice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Toasted walnuts or pecans
  • Sprinkle of apple pie spice, Crumble topping, Granola

Instructions

  • Combine oats and almond milk in a saucepan, bring to a boil and simmer for 8-10 minutes.
  • Stir in sweetened condensed milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and apple pie spice, simmer for a few more minutes.
  • Melt butter in a skillet, add brown sugar, apple pie spice, and vanilla, then stir in sliced apples and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Portion oatmeal into bowls and top with sautéed apples, nuts, and optional toppings.

Notes

For a thicker oatmeal, reduce almond milk or cook longer.
Quick oats may require shorter cooking time of about 5 minutes.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
