- 1 lb sliced bacon (cut into thirds)
- 1 lb little smokies
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking tray with foil.
- Mix brown sugar, cayenne, paprika, and black pepper in a bowl.
- Wrap bacon around each smoky and secure with a toothpick.
- Sprinkle half of the brown sugar mixture over the wrapped smokies.
- Bake for 15 minutes, flip, then sprinkle the remaining mixture on top.
- Bake for an additional 15 minutes until bacon is crispy.
Notes
Use turkey bacon for a lighter version.
Try using cocktail sausages for variety.
For extra crispiness, place the smokies on a wire rack while baking.
