Description

These soft and chewy Cookies and Cream Cookies are a delightful mix of white chocolate and Oreo goodness, perfect for any gathering or snack time.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour (186g)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (113g, melted)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar (100g)
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar (67g, packed)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup white chocolate chips
  • 8 Oreos (coarsely chopped, 98g)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda.
  • In another bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar; mix until creamy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, then fold in white chocolate chips and Oreos.
  • Chill dough for at least 1 hour, then scoop onto baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes until edges are golden; cool on rack.

Notes

Chilling the dough is crucial for thicker cookies that hold their shape.
Using room temperature eggs helps with a smoother batter.
Avoid over-mixing the dough to ensure a soft texture.
