Ingredients
- Pie Dough Sheets (2, 10×12 inches each, or 1 double pie crust)
- Leftover Cranberry Sauce (¾ cup)
- Beaten Egg (1, for egg wash)
- Granulated Sugar (2 tablespoons for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the dough by cutting circles from the pie dough sheets.
- Brush the edges of the bottom circles with beaten egg.
- Add about 1 tablespoon of cranberry sauce in the center of each bottom circle.
- Seal the pies with the remaining dough circles and cut slits on top for steam.
- Chill assembled pies in the fridge for 15-20 minutes before baking.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Avoid overfilling the pies to prevent leaks.
Use chilled dough for flakier results.
