- 1 15.25 oz. box white cake mix
- 1 8 oz. brick cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup butter (softened)
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for sprinkling on top)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In a mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese and butter using a hand mixer until smooth and creamy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the mixture, mixing until well combined.
- Gradually incorporate the cake mix until a thick dough forms.
- Using a medium scoop or heaping tablespoon, drop the dough onto a parchment- or silicone-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes until the edges are set; they may look slightly undercooked in the center.
- Remove from the oven and allow cookies to cool completely on the baking sheet.
- Once cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Make sure cream cheese and butter are softened for easy mixing.
Cookies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for 4-5 days.
For longer storage, freeze cookies for up to 3 months.
