- 2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
- up to 1/4 cup hot milk or pasta water
- 1 pkg fettuccine noodles – cooked to package directions
- freshly chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions

- Stir in the heavy cream and half and half, whisking until fully combined, then bring to a gentle simmer.
- Incorporate the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Gradually add the Parmesan cheese, stirring gently until melted and smooth.
- Once the cheese has melted completely, combine small amounts of hot milk or pasta water until the desired sauce consistency is achieved.
- Combine the sauce with the cooked fettuccine noodles and garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired.
