- 1 small sweet onion
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 cup unsalted beef stock
- 1 oz au jus mix
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
Instructions
- Season the steak with salt and pepper in a large bowl.
- Heat oil in a skillet, sear steak cubes until browned.
- Transfer seared steak to a slow cooker with onion and garlic.
- Pour in beef stock and add au jus mix and butter on top.
- Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.
- Serve over mashed potatoes or rice.
