Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 lb sirloin steak
  • 2 tsp coarse salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper

  • 1 small sweet onion
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 cup unsalted beef stock
  • 1 oz au jus mix
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter

Instructions

  • Season the steak with salt and pepper in a large bowl.
  • Heat oil in a skillet, sear steak cubes until browned.
  • Transfer seared steak to a slow cooker with onion and garlic.
  • Pour in beef stock and add au jus mix and butter on top.
  • Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.
