Ingredients
- Pork Chops: Boneless or bone-in, about 1 inch thick
- Apples: 2 large apples, preferably Granny Smith or Honeycrisp
- Onion: 1 medium onion, sliced
- Apple Juice or Cider: 1 cup
- Brown Sugar: 2 tablespoons
- Ground Cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: ½ teaspoon
- Black Pepper: ¼ teaspoon
- Cornstarch & Water: Optional for thickening
Instructions
- Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and black pepper.
- Layer sliced apples and onions in the slow cooker.
- Place the seasoned pork chops on top of the apple mixture.
- Whisk together apple juice (or cider), brown sugar, and cinnamon, then pour over the pork chops.
