Description

This French Silk Pie features a silky chocolate filling in an Oreo crust, topped with whipped cream, making it a perfect dessert for celebrations or cozy nights.


Ingredients

  • 10 tbsp Butter, Softened
  • 1 1/3 cups Heavy Cream

Instructions

  • Whisk sugar and eggs in a saucepan until reaching 160°F, about 10 minutes.
  • Stir in melted chocolate and additional vanilla; cool to about 75°F.
  • Beat softened butter until light and fluffy, then mix in cooled chocolate.
  • Whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks and fold into the chocolate mixture.
  • Fill the Oreo crust with the chocolate filling and chill for at least 1 hour.
  • Beat cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla for the topping; spread on cooled pie.
