Description

This Green Goddess Veggie Pizza features a delightful blend of fresh ingredients including pesto, mozzarella, asparagus, and apples, making it a perfect choice for an easy, flavorful dinner. Its vibrant colors and irresistible taste will be a hit at any gathering!


Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups organic all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 Tbsp organic raw honey
  • 1 packet rapid-rise yeast (2 ¼ teaspoons)
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning Blend
  • 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil (for brushing)
  • 1/21 cup pesto sauce
  • 8 oz. fresh mozzarella (sliced or cubed)
  • 1 Granny Smith apple (sliced)
  • 1/4 lb. asparagus (chopped, roasted)
  • 1 cup chopped kale (organic)
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning Blend
  • 1/2 cup chopped pistachios (for garnish)
  • Green Goddess Dressing

Instructions

  • Mix warm water, honey, and yeast; let it foam for 5 minutes.
  • Add flour and Italian seasoning to the yeast mixture; mix into a soft dough.
  • Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Form the dough into a ball and roll into an 11-inch circle; place in a greased pizza pan.
  • Preheat oven to 500°F; prepare the pizza base.
  • Spread pesto over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
  • Layer kale, mozzarella, roasted asparagus, and apple slices on top.
  • Brush the crust with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
  • Cool slightly, slice, drizzle with dressing, and garnish with pistachios.

Notes

Allow the dough to rise in a warm place for best results.
You can prepare the dough a day in advance and refrigerate it before baking.
