- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk or beef broth
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook the ground beef and onion until the meat is no longer pink; drain excess grease.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Mix cream of mushroom soup, milk or broth, paprika, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl.
- Combine the cooked rice, beef mixture, one cup of cheese, and creamy sauce in the baking dish.
- Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake covered for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes until bubbly.
- Optional: Broil for 2 minutes for a crispy top.
- Let rest for 5 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve.
