Ingredients

  • Refrigerated Crescent Rolls (2, 8-ounce tubes)
  • Cooked Shredded Chicken (3.3 cups)
  • Cream Cheese (1, 8-ounce package)
  • Diced Green Onion (¼ cup, optional)
  • Garlic Powder (½ teaspoon)
  • Unsalted Butter (⅓ cup, melted)
  • Italian Bread Crumbs (½ cup)
  • Cream of Chicken Soup (1 can, 10.5 ounces)
  • Milk (½ cup)
  • Sour Cream (¼ cup)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and coat baking sheets with non-stick spray.
  • In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, cream cheese, green onions, and garlic powder until blended.
  • Unroll crescent rolls and place 2 tablespoons of mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  • Fold sides over filling and roll from wide end to narrow tip, sealing edges.
  • Melt butter and dip each pillow in butter, then roll in breadcrumbs.
  • Arrange on baking sheets and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
  • In a saucepan, mix cream of chicken soup, milk, and sour cream over medium heat until heated and combined.
  • Serve pillows warm with gravy drizzled on top or on the side.

Notes

For a creamier filling, ensure the cream cheese is softened at room temperature before use.
You can customize the filling by adding different herbs or spices according to your taste.
Leftover chicken works perfectly for this recipe, making it a great option for meal prep.
