Description

Healthy Juicy Air Fryer Filet Mignon delivers irresistible flavor in simple prep. Perfect for a quick dinner, this dish features tender filet mignon, seasoned to perfection, and cooked to your liking.


Ingredients

  • 14 (5–6 oz) filet mignon steaks
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly cracked black pepper
  • avocado oil spray, or another high-smoke-point oil for greasing the air fryer basket

Instructions

  • Pat the filets dry and season generously with salt and black pepper on all sides. Allow them to rest at room temperature for 10–20 minutes.
  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F and lightly grease the basket with avocado oil spray.
  • Place the seasoned filets in the basket and air fry for 10–15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 135°F for medium-rare or to your preference.
  • (Optional) To make garlic butter, mix 2 tablespoons softened butter, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, and a pinch of salt. Spoon over steaks immediately after resting so it melts.
  • Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before slicing to retain juices.

Notes

For optimal flavor, let the steaks come to room temperature before cooking.
Use a meat thermometer for precise cooking to your desired doneness.
Garlic butter adds a delicious finish but is optional.
