Description

Treat your taste buds with this Honey-Lime Margarita-ish Mocktail. Bursting with flavor, it’s easy to make with lime juice, honey, and a hint of jalapeno. Perfect for a hot day or when entertaining guests!

Ingredients

Scale
  • juice from one lime (plus one slice for garnish)
  • 2 teaspoons raw honey
  • 6 ounces tonic water
  • 23 slices of jalapeno
  • a dash of sea salt flakes
  • 3/4 to 1 cup ice

Instructions

  1. In a 14-ounce glass, combine honey with 1 to 2 tablespoons of hot water and stir until honey dissolves.
  2. Add lime juice to the glass.
  3. Fill the glass with ice and pour in 6 ounces of tonic water.
  4. Add 2 to 3 slices of jalapeno and stir the mixture gently.
  5. Sprinkle some sea salt flakes on top and garnish with a lime slice.

Notes

For a spicier drink, add more jalapeno slices or let them sit longer in the liquid.
Use sparkling water as a lighter alternative to tonic water for a different flavor.
Adjust the amount of honey to taste based on your sweetness preference.
