Instructions
- Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl and set aside.
- Beat butter and sugar in an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well, then stir in almond extract.
- Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Chill the dough for at least one hour.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet.
- Form dough into one-inch balls and place on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are lightly golden and cool on a wire rack.
- Mix powdered sugar, almond extract, and milk for glaze.
- Dip cooled cookies in glaze and sprinkle with holiday decorations.
