Ingredients
Scale
- 2 tails lobster tails 4–6 oz each, thawed
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter european-style for extra richness
- 1 tsp garlic powder burn-resistant flavor
- 0.5 tsp paprika for color
- 0.5 tsp cajun seasoning low-sodium blend recommended
- 2 wedges lemon warm before squeezing for maximum yield
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped finely for garnish
Instructions
- Use kitchen shears to cut through the top shell of the lobster tails lengthwise, stopping before the tail fin.
- Gently pry the lobster meat upward, keeping it attached at the base, and rest it on the split shell. Pat it dry with paper towels.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat until it begins to foam. Whisk in the garlic powder, paprika, and Cajun seasoning.
- Sear the lobster tails flesh-side down in the seasoned butter for 2 minutes, spooning the butter over the tops as they cook.
- Flip the lobster tails and cook shell-side down for another 1–2 minutes until the meat is firm but still springs back.
- Squeeze the lemon wedges directly over the lobster tails in the pan.
- Garnish with parsley and serve immediately, drizzled with the pan sauce.
Notes
Choose fresh lobster tails for the best flavor.
Adjust the seasoning according to your taste preferences. Consider adding more garlic for a stronger flavor.
