- 1 pound salmon: Skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- ½ cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- ¼ cup water
- Green onions: Chopped, for garnish
- Cooked white rice: To serve alongside
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, toss salmon cubes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt, and black pepper until coated.
- Sear salmon in a skillet over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter, sauté minced garlic, then stir in maple syrup, soy sauce, white wine vinegar, red pepper flakes, and water. Cook for 2-3 minutes to thicken.
- Gently toss cooked salmon in the glaze and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Transfer to a serving platter, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve with cooked rice.

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
