Description

This Maple Pecan Cinnamon Pull Apart Bread features soft, sweet layers infused with cinnamon and crunchy pecans, drizzled in maple glaze, making it perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.


Ingredients

  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2¼ tsp instant yeast (1 packet)
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup finely chopped pecans
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup

Instructions

  • Mix warmed milk, melted butter, egg, sugar, yeast, flour, and salt to form a dough.
  • Allow the dough to rise in a greased bowl until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  • Prepare a loaf pan and mix sugars, cinnamon, and pecans for the filling.
  • Roll out the dough, brush with melted butter, and sprinkle with the filling.
  • Cut and stack the dough pieces in the pan; let rise again for 30-45 minutes.
  • Bake at 350℉ for 30-35 minutes until golden and crusty.
  • Cool, then glaze with a mixture of powdered sugar, vanilla, and maple syrup.

Notes

Store at room temperature for up to 2 days, or refrigerate for up to a week.
For freezing, individually wrap pieces and consume within 3 months.
