- 1 pkg onion soup mix
- 1 ¼ cups water
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp cold water
- Cooked rice
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt the butter.
- Add onions and green peppers; sauté for 3-4 minutes until onions are translucent.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper and add to the skillet, cooking for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Stir in mushrooms and onion soup mix; pour in water and Worcestershire sauce, bringing to a simmer.
- Mix cornstarch with cold water to create a slurry; add to the skillet and stir until gravy thickens, about 3-4 minutes.
- Serve over warm rice, garnished with parsley.
