- ½ cup maple syrup

- 1 ½ cups pecans (chopped)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla; whisk until creamy.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- For the filling, melt the unsalted butter and mix with brown sugar, maple syrup, vanilla, and cinnamon; fold in chopped pecans.
- Drop cookie dough onto baking sheets, make an indentation in the center of each, and fill with pecan mixture.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are set but soft. Allow to cool before transferring to wire racks.
Notes
