These Pizza Pinwheels are a delicious twist on classic pizza. Soft dough is filled with gooey cheese, pepperoni, and rich marinara for an irresistible snack that’s easy to prepare for any occasion.

- 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough
- 2 cups marinara sauce (divided)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- Pinch of red pepper flakes
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan
- 32 pepperoni slices
- 2 tsp parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out pizza dough to ¼ to ⅓ inch thick on a cutting board.
- Spread marinara sauce, leaving an inch bare on one side.
- Sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Add mozzarella, parmesan, and pepperoni slices on top of the sauce.
- Carefully roll the dough into a log and slice into pinwheels.
- Arrange on the baking sheet with space between each piece.
- Bake for 22-25 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
- Cool for a few minutes, then garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
For a healthier option, use part-skim mozzarella or gluten-free dough.
These pinwheels can be made a day in advance and stored in the fridge.
Feel free to mix and match fillings, adding vegetables or different meats.
