- 1 lb extra small shrimp
- 6 ounces canned lump crab meat
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Colby jack cheese
- 1/4 cup red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup green onion
- 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp lemon zest
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking dish.
- Chop the shrimp into small pieces and squeeze out excess moisture from shrimp and crab meat.
- In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, red bell pepper, green onion, Cajun seasoning, and lemon zest until smooth.
- Gently fold in the shrimp and crab until evenly mixed.
- Pour the mixture into the baking dish and sprinkle Colby Jack cheese on top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it sit, garnish with green onions, and serve warm with dippers.
Notes
Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for easy mixing.
Use nonstick spray on the baking dish to prevent sticking.
