Ingredients
- Italian sausage links (2 packages, 19 ounces each)
- Olive oil (1 tablespoon)
- Bell peppers (6 total, a mix of colors, sliced into strips)
- Onions (2, sliced into strips)
- Garlic (4 cloves, minced)
- Marinara sauce (1½ cups)
- Italian seasoning (1 tablespoon)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
- Sear Italian sausage links for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- In the slow cooker, combine sliced bell peppers, onions, minced garlic, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer seared sausages to the slow cooker on top of the vegetables.
- Cover and cook on low for about 5 hours or high for 3 hours.
