Ingredients

  • Honey (â…“ cup, 113 g)
  • Soy Sauce (¼ cup, 64 g)
  • Minced Garlic (2 teaspoons)
  • Apple Cider Vinegar (1 tablespoon)
  • Garlic Salt (½ teaspoon)
  • Red Pepper Flakes (½ teaspoon, optional)
  • Chicken Broth (2 cups or 16 ounces, 480 g)
  • Heavy Whipping Cream (½ cup, 119 g)
  • Uncooked Spaghetti (8 ounces)
  • Cornstarch (1 tablespoon)
  • Water (2 tablespoons)
  • Parmesan Cheese (¼ cup, 25 g, grated)
  • Fresh Parsley (for garnish)
  • Extra Red Pepper Flakes (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  • Whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, garlic salt, and red pepper flakes in a bowl; set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat chicken broth and heavy cream until boiling.
  • Add uncooked spaghetti, ensuring it’s submerged in the liquid. Simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Prepare cornstarch slurry by mixing cornstarch and water in a separate bowl.
  • Once pasta is al dente, add the honey garlic sauce and cornstarch slurry to the skillet, stirring until thickened (2-3 minutes).
  • Remove from heat, garnish with Parmesan cheese and parsley, and serve.

Notes

Adjust garlic and red pepper flakes to taste according to your preference.
This dish can be made gluten-free by swapping spaghetti for gluten-free pasta and using gluten-free soy sauce.
