Description

These Sweet Potato Tots are packed with flavor and easy to make, perfect for a quick snack or a side at any meal. With fresh sweet potatoes and simple spices, they’re a delightful addition to any table!


Ingredients

  • 2 lb peeled sweet potatoes choose firm, fresh sweet potatoes for the best flavor.
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp olive oil plus additional for brushing.
  • salt to taste
  • flaky sea salt for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Fill a large pot with about 4 cups of water, add a pinch of salt, and bring it to a boil.
  • Once boiling, carefully add the peeled sweet potatoes and cook for 10 to 12 minutes until they are about two-thirds cooked.
  • Remove the sweet potatoes and let them cool slightly, then grate them into a large bowl.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding your favorite spices and herbs to the mix.
Make sure to brush the tots with olive oil before baking for a crispier texture.
