Description

This Teriyaki Chicken is a quick and easy dish bursting with flavor, featuring tender chicken glazed in a rich, homemade teriyaki sauce. Perfect for busy nights!


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb. chicken breast (diced)
  • Salt and pepper
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • ½ tsp fresh ginger (grated)
  • 1 ½ tsp cornstarch
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat a large skillet over medium heat and spray with nonstick spray.
  • Season diced chicken with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes until no longer pink.
  • In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, maple syrup, rice vinegar, ginger, and cornstarch to create the teriyaki sauce.
  • Add minced garlic to the cooked chicken and sauté for 30 seconds.
  • Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken, stirring frequently until thickened (2-3 minutes).
  • Serve the teriyaki chicken over rice and garnish with green onions.

Notes
