- 8 ounces goat cheese
- 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh thyme
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh rosemary
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 2 ounces bacon, finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons finely chopped pecans
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- Pinch of black pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Add goat cheese, Greek yogurt, honey, thyme, rosemary, and lemon juice to a food processor and blend until smooth.
- Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 8-10 minutes; reserve some bacon grease.
- In the same skillet, add chopped pecans, brown sugar, salt, and reserved bacon grease, cooking until pecans are caramelized.
- Spoon whipped goat cheese into a serving dish, top with candied bacon and pecans, and garnish with herbs.
Notes
Use room temperature goat cheese for easier whipping.
