Description

This whipped goat cheese paired with crispy candied bacon and crunchy pecans is a delightful treat that perfectly complements any occasion, from game nights to brunch.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces goat cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 ounces bacon, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons finely chopped pecans
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • Pinch of black pepper (optional)

Instructions

  • Add goat cheese, Greek yogurt, honey, thyme, rosemary, and lemon juice to a food processor and blend until smooth.
  • Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 8-10 minutes; reserve some bacon grease.
  • In the same skillet, add chopped pecans, brown sugar, salt, and reserved bacon grease, cooking until pecans are caramelized.
  • Spoon whipped goat cheese into a serving dish, top with candied bacon and pecans, and garnish with herbs.

Notes

Use room temperature goat cheese for easier whipping.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
