  • Orzo pasta (8 ounces)
  • Celery stalks (2, finely diced)
  • Carrots (2, finely diced)
  • Yellow onion (1/2, finely diced)
  • Butter (5 tablespoons)
  • Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
  • Chicken broth (2 cups)
  • Heavy whipping cream (1/2 cup)
  • Chicken bouillon powder (1 teaspoon)
  • All-purpose flour (1/3 cup)

Instructions

  • Cook orzo according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
  • Season chicken breasts with onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper, then cook in a skillet until done.
  • Sauté onion, carrots, and celery in a skillet until softened, about 5 minutes.
