Ingredients

  • Large boneless chicken breasts
  • Garlic powder
  • Mixed herbs or Italian seasoning
  • Salt & black pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Butter
  • Minced garlic
  • All-purpose flour
  • Low-sodium chicken stock
  • Sour cream
  • Ranch seasoning
  • Fresh parsley

Instructions

  • Cut chicken breasts horizontally into cutlets.
  • Season chicken with garlic powder, mixed herbs, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil and butter, sear chicken cutlets for 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Remove chicken, and in the same pan, add butter and sauté minced garlic.
  • Stir in flour to create a roux, then incorporate chicken stock until thickened.
  • Whisk in sour cream and ranch seasoning to create the creamy sauce.
  • Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over, and garnish with parsley.

For a gluten-free option, substitute all-purpose flour with cornstarch.
