Description

Ingredients

  • Honey (1/3 cup)
  • Hot Sauce (1.5 tsp)
  • Chili Flakes (0.75 tsp)
  • Chicken Breasts (500g)
  • Paprika (2 tsp)
  • Salt (1 tsp)
  • Onion Powder (0.5 tsp)
  • Garlic Powder (0.5 tsp)
  • Dried Oregano (0.5 tsp)
  • Black Pepper (0.5 tsp)
  • Cayenne Pepper (0.25 tsp)
  • Plain Flour (35g, 1/4 cup)
  • Eggs (2 large, beaten)
  • Panko Breadcrumbs (65g, 1 cup)
  • Vegetable Oil (6 tbsp)
  • Feta Cheese (200g, crumbled)

Instructions

  • Mix honey, hot sauce, and chili flakes in a bowl, warm slightly to meld flavors.
  • Slice chicken breasts in half horizontally into cutlets, season.
  • Mix paprika, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, black pepper, and cayenne—divide into two bowls for flour and Panko.
  • Bread chicken by coating it in flour, dipping in eggs, and rolling in Panko.
  • Fry cutlets in vegetable oil over medium-high heat until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Broil cutlets topped with feta for 1-2 minutes.
  • Drizzle hot honey over the chicken and serve immediately.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for 3 months.
Reheat in the oven at 375°F for about 10 minutes to maintain crispiness.
For a gluten-free version, substitute with gluten-free flour and breadcrumbs.
