- 20 ounces refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Place the ground beef, diced onion, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, half of the crumbled bacon, and drained diced tomatoes in the slow cooker.
- Add beef broth, tomato sauce, and mustard to the mixture, stirring until well combined.
- Cover and cook on low for approximately 3 hours to let flavors meld together.
- Stir in the cheese tortellini, ensuring they are primarily submerged in the sauce.
- Continue cooking for another 30 to 40 minutes until the tortellini are tender.
- Mix in the shredded cheddar cheese and stir until it melts into the sauce, creating a creamy texture.
- Sprinkle the remaining bacon on top and let the dish sit for about 5 minutes before serving to thicken the sauce.
Notes
For added flavor, use smoked bacon instead of regular.
If you prefer a spicier dish, add red pepper flakes to taste.
