Description

Enjoy the delightful taste of homemade chocolate chip cookies, featuring mini chocolate chips and colorful Easter M&M’s. This recipe makes baking fun and delicious, perfect for any gathering or simply to enjoy at home!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cups butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cups brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tbsp vanilla
  • 1 cup mini-chocolate chips
  • 1 cup easter m&m's

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until thoroughly combined.
  3. In a separate mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar together until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla to the butter mixture, beating until well mixed.
  5. Gradually incorporate the flour mixture, mixing until everything is combined smoothly.
  6. Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips and Easter M&M's until evenly distributed in the dough.
  7. Scoop about 1 1/2 tablespoons of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, ensuring there's adequate space between each scoop for spreading.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes.
  9. After removing from the oven, press extra mini chocolate chips and M&M's into the tops of the warm cookies.

Notes

For a chewier cookie, slightly underbake them for the suggested time.
Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week.
You can also substitute the Easter M&M’s with regular ones for a year-round treat.
