Description

These Mini Apple Pies are quick to make and bursting with flavor. Perfect for any gathering, they feature spiced apples in a flaky crust topped with a crunchy crumble.


Ingredients

  • All butter pie crust (2 recipes or 1 package)
  • Granny Smith Apples (5 medium)
  • Sugar (½ cup, divided)
  • Cinnamon (½ teaspoon)
  • Flour (1 cup)
  • Butter (8 tablespoons, slightly softened)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F and prepare mini muffin tins with cooking spray.
  • Cut pie crusts into 2.5-inch rounds and fit them into muffin tins.
  • Peel and dice apples, then boil for 3-5 minutes until slightly softened.
  • Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  • Combine flour, sugar, and butter to create crumble topping.
  • Fill crusts with apples, sprinkle cinnamon sugar, and top with crumble.
  • Bake for 12 minutes until crusts are golden brown.
  • Cool in pans for 10 minutes before removing.

Notes

Use cold butter for a flaky crust.
