Description

Mint Oreo Truffles are a delightful treat packed with irresistible mint flavor. This easy recipe combines crunchy Mint Oreos and creamy cheese within a luscious almond bark coating, making it perfect for parties or a sweet snack. Quick to prepare and so delicious, these truffles will be a hit with everyone!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (18.71 ounce) package mint oreos about 36 cookies
  • 8 ounces brick-style cream cheese softened
  • 1 pound almond bark
  • 1/3 cup green candy melts optional

Instructions

  1. Place the Mint Oreos in a food processor and pulse until they become fine crumbs.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, blend the Oreo crumbs and softened cream cheese with a hand mixer until smooth and combined.
  3. Use a 1-tablespoon scoop to portion the mixture and roll it into balls. Arrange the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Refrigerate the truffles for at least 30 minutes, or until they become firm.
  5. Melt the almond bark according to package instructions until it is smooth and no lumps remain.
  6. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted almond bark and gently tap off any excess coating before returning them to the baking sheet.
  7. If using, melt the green candy melts and drizzle them over the coated truffles.
  8. Let the coating set completely before serving or storing.

Notes

Chill the formed truffles longer for a firmer texture if desired.
Experiment with different colored candy melts for festive occasions.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
