Description

This Mississippi Mud Pie combines rich chocolate flavors with a silky pudding layer and a crunchy Oreo crust. Perfect for gatherings or cozy nights at home!


Ingredients

  • Oreos (2 1/2 cups)
  • Unsalted butter (5 TBSP + 1/4 cup)
  • All-purpose flour (1/2 cup)
  • Dutch-process cocoa powder (1/2 cup + 2 TBSP)
  • Cornstarch (1/2 TBSP)
  • Salt (1/2 tsp)
  • White granulated sugar (1 cup + 1/4 cup)
  • Large eggs (2)
  • Oil (1/4 cup)
  • Pure vanilla extract (3 tsp total)
  • Instant chocolate pudding mix (3.9 oz)
  • Milk (1 cup)
  • Heavy cream (1/2 cup + 1 1/2 cups)
  • Powdered sugar (1/4 cup)
  • Cream cheese (2 oz)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare a 9-inch springform pan.
  • Blend Oreos into fine crumbs for the crust; mix in melted butter and press into the pan, then bake for 11 minutes.
  • Sift flour, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt for brownie layer.
  • Whisk sugar and eggs until light; mix in melted butter, oil, and vanilla, then add dry ingredients.
  • Pour brownie batter over cooled crust and bake for 27-29 minutes, then cool completely.
  • Prepare pudding by whisking heavy cream until stiff; blend pudding mix and milk, then fold in whipped cream.
  • Spread pudding layer over brownie and chill for 2 hours.
  • Make whipped cream topping and spread over pudding before serving.
