Ingredients
Scale
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 1 1/4 cup dairy free chocolate chips
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup coconut sugar
- 1 cup almond flour, sifted
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Melt the coconut oil and chocolate chips together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently until smooth; remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and coconut sugar for about 45 seconds to create a crackly top.
- Fold in the sifted almond flour and salt by hand to avoid over-mixing, then gently stir in the melted chocolate mixture.
- Prepare an 8×8 baking dish by lining with parchment paper or spraying it with nonstick spray, then pour the brownie batter into the dish.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Once baked, let the brownies cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
Notes
For a fudgier brownie, reduce the baking time by a few minutes.
Make sure to sift the almond flour to avoid clumps in the batter.
Storing leftovers in an airtight container will keep them fresh for up to a week.
