Description

Red, White, and Blue Jello with Cream is a festive and colorful dessert that combines tangy gelatins with smooth cream. It’s simple to make and perfect for celebrations, offering an appealing look and delicious taste that everyone will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 oz red gelatin (170g)
  • 6 oz blue gelatin (170g)
  • boiling water (amount as per gelatin instructions)
  • cold water (amount as per gelatin instructions)
  • 12 fl. oz heavy whipping cream (350ml)
  • 5 fl. oz sweetened condensed milk (150ml)
  • whipped cream (for topping)
  • Red, white, and blue sprinkles (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the red and blue gelatin according to the instructions on the boxes.
  2. Transfer the prepared gelatins to an 8×8 inch (20cmx20cm) dish and refrigerate for about 4 hours until fully set, or use the Quickset method if preferred.
  3. Once set, cut the gelatins into squares, adjusting the size based on the cups you plan to use.
  4. Carefully remove the squares using a teaspoon, butter knife, or spatula, ensuring they stay intact.
  5. In 8 oz (237ml) cups, place layers of the gelatin squares, alternating colors and pressing them against the sides to create a colorful effect. Pour approximately 1.5 tablespoons of cream in between layers.
  6. Top the cups with whipped cream and sprinkle with decorations as desired.

Notes

Make sure the gelatins are completely set before cutting to avoid breaking them apart.
You can adapt the size of cups used based on personal preference and serving size.
For a fun twist, try experimenting with other flavors of gelatin.
