- 16 oz. cream cheese, softened (two 8-oz. pkgs.)
- 1 lb deli sliced corned beef or pastrami, roughly chopped
- 2 cups swiss cheese, shredded
- 1 cup sauerkraut, drained
- 1 cup sour cream
- ¾ cup thousand island dressing
- rye bread
- rye chips and crackers
- French bread
- veggies
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together all the ingredients until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture into a 4 quart or larger slow cooker.
- Cook on LOW for 2 hours, or until the cheese is melted and the dip is bubbling hot.
- Garnish with sliced green onion or parsley if desired, then serve with rye chips, crackers, or bread.
Notes
Add more or less sauerkraut based on your taste preference.
For an extra kick, try adding some hot sauce to the mixture.
The dip can be kept warm in the slow cooker for serving at parties.
