  • Ground Pepper (½ teaspoon)
  • All-Purpose Flour (¼ cup)
  • Turkey Broth (6 cups)
  • Wild Rice (1 cup, uncooked)
  • Cooked Turkey (3 cups, chopped)
  • Heavy Cream (1 cup)
  • Parsley (for garnish)
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  • Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add onion, carrots, and celery; sauté until softened.
  • Stir in garlic, salt, and pepper; cook for an additional minute.
  • Sprinkle flour over the vegetables; cook for 2 minutes.
  • Gradually add turkey broth; bring to a gentle boil.
  • Stir in wild rice; reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 40-45 minutes.
  • Fold in cooked turkey; heat through for 5 minutes.
