Instructions
- Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add onion, carrots, and celery; sauté until softened.
- Stir in garlic, salt, and pepper; cook for an additional minute.
- Sprinkle flour over the vegetables; cook for 2 minutes.
- Gradually add turkey broth; bring to a gentle boil.
- Stir in wild rice; reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 40-45 minutes.
- Fold in cooked turkey; heat through for 5 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream; taste and adjust seasoning.
- Garnish with parsley and serve.
