Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tube Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 ½ cups Strawberry Pie Filling
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • 2 tbsp Sugar, for topping

  • 1 tbsp Milk

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Unroll the crescent rolls and shape into a smooth sheet, sealing seams.
  • Cut 1-inch strips on both sides of the dough, leaving the center uncut.
  • Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and spread it down the center of the dough.
  • Layer strawberry pie filling over the cream cheese.
  • Braid the dough strips over the filling and brush with beaten egg, sprinkle with sugar.
  • Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown, then drizzle icing on top.

Notes

Make sure the cream cheese is softened for a smooth filling.
You can use fresh strawberries instead of pie filling for a fresher taste.
